THE LIVESTOCK SHOW
The 2026 East Texas State Fair Livestock Show will be for FFA and 4-H members only. These shows will be held in Athens at the Henderson County Fair Complex.

NEW THIS YEAR***
The dairy show will be a grade show. Registered and non registered dairy cattle may enter.
ENTRIES
Entries will begin online starting July 13th . Entry deadline is Sunday, Aug. 17, 2026. Junior entries can be made by the exhibitor, parent or club leaders. Checks (if not paid online) should be postmarked by Aug. 20.
Shavings and Pellets
The Henderson County Fair Complex does not allow any outside shavings or pellets. All pellets or shavings must be bought at the show and are $8.00 per bag.
RV Spaces
RV spaces are available on the grounds. There are 42 - 50 amp spaces, 62 - 30 amp spaces and are $40.00 per night. Please contact Denise at 903-597-2501 to reserve a spot.
-Lambs and goats will be allowed and preferred to be shown off of trailer. Pop up tents will be permitted for the lamb and goat shows only. Minimum pens available.
FYI:
Junior show animals are NOT required to be Validated or have health papers.
Health papers are required on out of state Brahman for the Open Brahman Show.
Dairy in milk will need a negative AI test.
Every junior show is a Blow and Go Show.
Cable halters and pronged chains are prohibited.
