Judging Criteria:

Projects are judged on mastery of application, presentation, creativity, complexity, grammar and spelling, and content. Each school may submit up to 3 outstanding entries per level (elementary, middle school, or high school) in each category to the East Texas State Fair Computer Science Fair to be judged. Having three or fewer entries in a category does not guarantee placing at an award level.

General Guidelines:

The contest is open to all public and private elementary, middle and high school students in the above categories. Students will compete in the age group to which they belonged when the project was completed. Project must have been completed within one year of the submission date and must not have been previously entered in the Academic Rodeo.

Copyright Laws: All copyright laws are to be followed. Violations will result in disqualification.

A label attached to the entry will identify the work by student, school, and grade level. Projects must be verified as the student's work by the teacher/sponsor on the project documentation.
