All entries in the art division must be the work of the exhibitor. Copies of non-original photographs or
of other artists’ paintings will be accepted in the “Copies Classification” only. Work done from
photographs taken by the artist, friends, or family may be entered as original work. The art division is
open to all residents of East Texas, and all paintings and drawings must have been completed within
the last two years. Due to limited space, only 3 paintings per artist will be accepted.
ENTRIES MUST BE FRAMED AND EQUIPPED WITH SCREWS AND WIRES FOR HANGING.
SAWTOOTH HANGERS ARE UNACCEPTABLE because they do not fit the exhibits hooks. Wood
frames are preferred.

Classifications will include:
OPAQUE - oil and/or acrylic
(or other medium) paintings done in “oil” technique.
TRANSPARENT - watercolor
and/or acrylic (or other medium) paintings done in “watercolor” technique.
GRAPHICS - pastels, crayons, charcoal, pen and ink (with or without watercolor) pencil and silk screen.
COPIES - Paintings copied from non-original photographs or from other artists work.
